“දෑසින් වැගිරෙන කඳුලක් පිටුපස දිග කතාන්දර වෙයි. දුක, කළකිරීම, පසුතැවීම, නිදහස, ආත්මානුකම්පාව, සැනසීම, විඳවීම, කේන්තිය, වෛරය, අසරණකම වැනි දහසකුත් එකක් හැඟීම් ඒ කඳුළු වල මිශ්ර වී ඇත. කඳුළු දෙස බලන්නට කෙනෙකු නැතිඳු ගලන කඳුළු ජීවිතයේ නපුරුම, අවාසනාවන්තම, කාළකණ්නිම කඳුළු යැයි මට සිතේ”

Buddhamas! Please don't insult the Buddha he does not need any ...mas carol. He is one who showed us the way to a life. Give him the due respect please without coining words from other festivities which do not have any connection to a wonderful philosophy of its own. Many people try to make the Buddha into a parallel of other religious leaders. We have to be careful about treating the Buddha with the respect he has given all human kind. His teachings never force us to revere him or make him into a super human. He taught us to be free and never be dependent on other people/things. That is the great beauty of Buddhism. But some people want to make into a circus or a party.

ස්තුතියි අයියේ මේ ගැන ලිව්වට, මෙහි අදහස් ප්රකාශ කිරිමට ඔබටත් අනිත් අයටත් අයිතියක් තියෙනවා. මම එය පල කලේ හුදෙක් සිතට දැණුනු ශාන්තියක් නිසාවෙනි( නමුත් ඒ ලෙසින් පිරිත් වල තරම් දැනුනේ නැති බවත් අර්ථයක් අරුතයක් ලැබුනේ නැති බවත් පිලි ගන්නේමි.) මෙලෙස මම සිතුවේද නැත්තේමි. මෙයින් කෙනෙකුට තැවිල්ලක් ඇතිවී නම් සමා වෙත්වා. අසන්නෝ අසත්වා.
